At some point this had to appear on my channel: a journey by a Sprinter-ICE from Munich to Berlin. Sprinter-ICEs are faster ICE services with fewer intermediate stops. The ICE 1112 is however a train that stops at Erfurt and Halle and not one of the new "super-sprinters", which go nonstop from Nuremberg to Berlin. This ICE operates with a single Class 403 unit.
Between Nuremberg and Ingolstadt as well as between Bamberg and Halle this ICE reached the maximum railway speed of 300 km/h. After it went on time until Halle, it gained some delayment afterwards due to a disruption of the catenary, which made the train arrive at Berlin main station over 20 minutes later.
