The History:
St. Anton / Stuben's Valfagehrbahn is an extremely long Leitner detachable six-pack that carriers skiers from the Alpe-Rauz base up towards the rest of St. Anton's ski terrain. After 2016 this lift also took on a new role of carrying skiers from Lech and Zürs toward St. Anton after they take the Flexenbahn.

The Lift:
The Valfagehrbahn was installed by Leitner Ropeways in 2005. Leitner installed a few lifts throughout North America during the late '90s and early 2000s, but never newer models like this lift since they merged with Poma in the North American market. This lift replaced a 1980 detachable triple chairlift that ran along this same alignment. The Valfagehrbahn uses an enclosed bottom return terminal with carrier parking and a loading conveyor and a top drive terminal. The carriers are Leitner's earlier six-pack carriers with heated seats. The design speed is 5 m/s (~985 ft/min) and capacity is 2,600 p/h. Unfortunately this lift almost always runs extremely slow making this quite a long ride.
