Momo without Chutney is like unimaginable. This is the best food couple just like Samosa and Imli Chutney. Now there are a variety of Chutney that is served with Momo, all throughout India but if you are looking for the authentic recipes, try this recipe for sure. The simple preparation yet a yummilicious condiment.

Today I will be sharing three types of Chutneys. Although, I have termed it Momo Chutney, it anyway goes good with Rice as well. If you are a condiment lover, you should try all the three recipes.

If you are preparing this chutney, remember not to add salt in the begining. You can preserve this chutney for at least 4 days, if you keep it in the refrigerator. Now thats a tip for you.

The Recipe:

Momo Chutney 1: The Base Chutney

This Chutney is served almost everywhere. It is the easiest of all Chutney recipes. All you need is:

Tomato: 1 Pc
Dry Red Chilli: As per choice
Green Chilli: As per Choice

Boil all the ingredients until tomato cooks and it gets its crack. Strain, peel the tomato and grind all the ingredients into a fine paste.

Chutney No 2: Teel Chutney or Sesame Chutney

Inhredients:

White Sesame (Peeled): 2 Tbsp
Tomato: 1 pc
Dry Red Chilli: As per choice
Green Chilli: As per Choice


Process:

Dry Roast the Sesame seeds until they crackle. Boil the rest of the ingredients until tomato cooks and it gets its crack. Strain, peel the tomato and grind all the ingredients including Roasted Sesame Seeds into a fine paste, add a little water if required.


Chutney No 3: Peanut Chutney or Mungfuli Chutney


Peanuta: 2-3 Tbsp
Tomato: 1 pc
Dry Red Chilli: As per choice
Green Chilli: As per Choice


Process:

Dry Roast the Peanuts for 5 minutes over high heat, then add a dash of Mustard oil and roast until it crackles. It should be crunchy. Boil the rest of the ingredients until tomato cooks and it gets its crack. Strain, peel the tomato and grind all the ingredients including Roasted Peanuts into a fine paste, add a little water if required.
