CBSE Class 10 Science Chapter 6 - Life Process - Introduction to Respiratory System - The Glucose released in the digestion process is utilized by the respiratory system to release energy. We exhale carbon dioxide and water vapors. Glucose is a carbon molecule which  has to be broken down into simpler molecules to be converted into energy. This can be done in the presence of oxygen or in the absence of oxygen. We will understand further the difference between the Breathing and respiration in the video.
