This is basically my workflow to optimize and prep a model for texturing. This is specifically for game assets, but most of the same principles will translate.
I touch on poly-count reduction, UVs, Material/Texture set assignments, exporting the finished meshes for texturing, and starting your project in Substance Painter, as well as a bunch of other small tips and tricks.
This video was originally just meant to help the Discord user above, but I feel it'd be nice to leave it up for the public to watch and maybe learn from.
