In this video we go over how to calculate the half life of second order reactions. These are usually structured as "what is the [concentration of reactant] after __ (time)", "starting with [reactant concentration], calculate the [reactant concentration unknown] after __ seconds/minutes/hours/days/years", or simply, "what is the half life of [reactant concentration]".

As always, its worth remembering that when these are graphed, the y axis variable will be 1/[A]. As a quick refresher, for first order half-life calculations, the y-axis variable will be the natural log of [A] (ln[A]) and for zero order half life calculations the y-axis variable is simply [A].

Hope this helps someone! Let me know down below if:
- you have an easier way to do these
- you found a mistake or want clarification on something
- you found this helpful :D

* I am not an expert in this topic. I am just a clinical lab scientist and life-long student who learns best from videos/visual representations and demonstration and have often turned to Youtube for help learning. My hope is that others in the same boat find and benefit from this.
