A first order reaction has
A first order reaction has integrated rate law
[A] = [A]0 e^(-kt)
which is the same as ln [A] = -kt + ln [A]0
Which means a graph of ln [A] vs time will give a line with slope -k and a y-intercept of ln [A]0.
