NACFC 2023 | W06: Best of Nutrition Research

The Best of Nutrition Research session covers acid suppression and its associations with growth, gut microbiome, and early on-set lung disease in children with cystic fibrosis. The session discusses the relationship between dietary fat intake and associations with bone mineral density and lean mass in adults with CF. Body fat distribution associations with glucose intolerance in adults with CF are reviewed. Finally, the session examines screening tools on eating behaviors and appetite in children with CF, and food insecurity screening tools in children and adults with CF.
