Former Gendarmerie Special Operations Officer, Retired Lieutenant Colonel Şefik Ünal, who served in the Turkish Armed Forces for 27 years, talked about the 1993 operation in the Şenyayla Region at GZT.
The PKK, which had a terrorist number of 700-800 in the early 1990s, had determined the Şenyayla Region as its main center point.
