Smoked salmon is a fish delicacy that brings out a unique flavor. I invite you to try my simple recipe for Norwegian smoked salmon. Norwegian smoked salmon is traditionally prepared from fresh salmon, rubbed with a mixture of salt, sugar, and dill. After the curing phase, the salmon is rubbed with rum and smoked for several hours in a special smoker at low temperature, giving it its characteristic mild taste. The cold-smoked salmon is then thinly sliced and often served as a delicate appetizer or on bread.

Ingredients:

1 side of wild salmon
100 g coarse sea salt
100 g brown sugar
1 tbsp dried dill
1 tbsp black pepper
Rum
