Looking for Thanksgiving food ideas
Looking for Thanksgiving food ideas or ideas for leftover turkey? I'm putting together a collection of recipes for a Vintage Thanksgiving Table! This video features a classic casserole - Turkey Noodle Bake. This recipe comes to us from Favorite Ways with Chicken, Turkey, Duck, and Game Birds; a 1967 cookbook published by Better Homes & Gardens.

TURKEY NOODLE BAKE
1.5c milk
1 - 10.5oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup
3 beaten eggs
2.25c (uncooked measurement)fine egg noodles, cooked & drained
2c shredded cooked turkey or chicken
1c soft bread crumbs
1/4c butter, melted
4oz processed American cheese, shredded
1/4c diced green pepper
2T chopped canned pimento, drained
Preheat oven to 350. Blend milk into soup. Stir in eggs; add noodles, turkey or chicken, cheese, green pepper, and pimento. Stir until blended. Pour into 12 x 7.5 x 2 casserole dish. Top with soft bread crumbs, drizzle melted butter over the top. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until knife inserted into center comes out clean. Serves 6 to 8.
