This video explains how to resurface the BobsCNC CNc router spoil board. Surfacing the spoilboard is important to have a level working area on your CNC router. It also tells you what is the best surfacing bit to use (with link below)
The more you cut into your spoilboard, the more warped it will get and the less accuracy you'll have in your Z plane. It is best to use a second spoilboard on top of the main spoil board.
In the event that you do cut into it, it is wise to resurface it from time to time. Especially if you notice deviations.
Resurfacing the surface of your CNC router bed (aka spoilboard or wasteboard) is something you will need to do at some point in time. This will clean up any areas that are uneven or cut into during previous jobs.
