Koh Lipe Thailand 🇹🇭🐠🤿 | Travel guide

In this episode I travel to Koh Lipe, a tiny idyllic tropical island off Thailand's Andaman Sea coast.  The island is surrounded by healthy coral reefs, bringing a large amount of marine life for divers and snorkelers.  The island has dozens of beaches from busy, wide, and flat, to sheltered and deserted.  The island is well-connected by speedboat and is small enough to get around with or without a motorbike and is reasonably priced (more expensive than other places especially for diving and accommodation).  It has increased in popularity so the dining and drinking options are numerous, and the island retains chill and relaxed vibes in contrast to Phuket or Koh Phi Phi further up the coastline.  While crowds are concentrated on Pattaya and Sunrise beaches and in the restaurants, you can escape if you're willing to walk to some of the quieter ends of the island.  It's a great place to spend a few days to a week.  Or just become a dive bum and stay forever...
