Here are the top 10 strength exercises for ultra runners in a handy 15 minute workout that you can repeat twice more to complete three sets. If you don't have any weights, just use filled water bottles, tin cans, heavy books or chuck any of those things into a backpack instead. This will ultra-proof your body, making it stronger for less chance of injury, end-of race fatigue, a quicker recovery time and more running efficiency especially towards the end of that race.
