This lesson DOES not reflect INDIGENOUS PEOPLES in Canada nowadays. Its intention is not to offend anyone but to give an overall historical characteristic of Indigenous peoples in Canada.
Moreover, it is not a history lesson on the Indigenous peoples. Still, it is just a video lesson to help international students to learn English and some general aspects of Canadian history.
Who are the indigenous peoples of Canada? They comprise three main groups: The First Nations, the Inuit and the Métis. Within the First Nations, there are various groups of indigenous people.
This lesson is designed for beginners who wish to improve their English culture and those above levels who wish to clarify doubts about this topic. Mr. P. is a quarter Native American.
