Bodycam DUI Arrest - 20-Year-Old Arrested for DUI and Having Open Containers of Alcohol

On March 19, 2024, Miami Township Police Officer Ryan observed a vehicle waving within the traffic lane.  He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the 20-year-old driver.  The woman stated she was upset because she had just had an argument with her fiancé.   Officer Ryan noticed a bag containing alcohol in the backseat.   As a result, the woman was asked to step out of the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests.   At the conclusion of the tests, she broke down in tears, likely because she knew what was coming next.  She then admitted that she had consumed 4 beers.  She was placed under arrest and was transported to the Miami Township police station.   She submitted to an evidential breath test and the result was 0.196% BAC.  Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
