Muhallabia/Muhalabi/muhalebi This rather exotic pudding is awfully good and remarkably easy to make. Muhallabia is creamy ,milky and the subtle fragrance of rose water makes us feel that we are having something heavenly.Traditionally milk is thickened using rice flour but it can also be made using corn flour.So lets see how to make this simple and easy middle eastern milk pudding.

Ingredients
• Milk - 750ml
• Sugar - 1/2 cup
• 1 tablespoons corn flour
• 1 tablespoons vanilla essence


Garnish
• Pistachios
• Rooh afza


. Method
Prepare the milk and corn flour mixture by dissolving corn flour into 1/3 cup of milk.
Heat milk and sugar in a saucepan on med-high heat.
When milk is about to boil,add the corn flour -milk mixture
.Keep on stirring milk (watch carefully – will easily burn or stick to bottom of pan).
Once mixture thickens, remove from heat.
Pour into bowls or cups or ramekins
Cool. Once cooled (must be lukewarm or cooler),
Cover it and place in refrigerator and chill for at least 2-3 hours.
Top with  nuts.
Muhallabia is a very simple milk pudding recipe. It is a popular dessert in middle east especially during the month of ramadan....
