Amtrak Phase 2 130 Leads for the First Time With ACSES PTC

Tonight I was able to grab 448 with Amtrak 130 leading. This would be the first time 130 has lead over ACSES territory since it received the PTC addition over the summer. I wouldn’t be a surprise to see 130 become a unit operated primarily in the northeast region.

Amtrak 130 is part of the 2011 40th anniversary Heritage unit line up. However, the original phase 2 unit, Amtrak 66, never really made it to Boston much as it was a midwest unit. Then in early 2016, 66 was wrecked at a grade crossing out west. In Fall 2017 Amtrak released 130 from the paint shop in Phase 2 paint to replace the now retired 66.
