Last Move For MBTA Single Level Cabcars - Work Extra Moves 1600s for Scrap

Last week the Keolis Work Extra moved 2 MBTA 1600 Bombardier cabcars for scrap Schnitzer Steel in Everett. The cars MBTX 1627 and 1642 were in some of the worst condition and needed to be scrapped nearby to Boston. Rumor has it that this would be the last scrap move to the Coke Works facility. The additional work train cars were there for added braking. Once again it was cool to see the C-1 caboose lead.
