Additionally, the color blue is associated with Lord Krishna in Hinduism, and many locals paint their homes blue as a symbol of devotion. This collective use of blue paint has given Jodhpur its distinctive and charming blue appearance, making it a unique and recognizable city in India.

Jodhpur, located in the Indian state of Rajasthan, is often referred to as the "Blue City" due to the distinctive indigo color of many of its buildings. This historic city is renowned for its majestic Mehrangarh Fort, a colossal fortress perched on a rocky hill, offering panoramic views of the city.
