Travelers currently need patience and good nerves at almost all German airports. The industry lacks 5000 employees. Passengers wait hours at security checkpoints and days for their suitcases or never see them again. What's going on at Germany's airports - how is the situation abroad and how does Frankfurt Airport handle 200,000 passengers a day with a massive shortage of staff at the same time? What's next at the largest German airport? We accompany Cetin Afsin. The 45-year-old is an aircraft handler and instructor. Every day he trains new employees under enormous time pressure. André Risto works for the air traffic control of the Hessian Ministry of Economics and Transport. He controls the workers and work on the planes so that no mistakes happen in the rush. Do the employees have the necessary qualifications? Do they work by the book? Eduard Kapp is a traffic dispatcher. He is responsible for traffic and parking at the airport.
