The Khaplang faction of the nationalsit socialist council of Nagaland has taken responsibility for the ambush on security convoy in nagaland in which 8 jawans of Assam rifles were killed. the group had recently abrogated ceasefire pact with the government and formed a new umbrella body with eight other outfits in Myanmar. meanwhile, the government has condemned the incident and has directed the security forces to act accordingly.
