The Yung Aung faction of the NSCN-K has said that the group has not yet discussed the issue of ceasefire with the Government of India.
Talking to Northeast Live NSCN-K YA’s self styled Chairman for the Konyak Region, Khampei said the civil society groups including the Konyak Union have been appealing to the group to come forward for peace. The NSCN-K-YA refused to comment on the ongoing talks between NSCN-IM and the Government of India.
