Valkyrie Suite | God of War (Original Soundtrack) by Bear McCreary

Having not played the franchise at all prior, God of War (2018) was one of the most engrossing, emotional, and enjoyable video game stories I have experienced probably ever. One of the best parts of the game was the magnificent, meticulous, and ethnically rich score Bear McCreary crafted that remains one of the best video game scores I've ever heard. Some of the most difficult, entertaining, and tragic bosses in the game, warriors of Valhalla cast aside and imprisoned by Odin. Their theme utilizes beautiful, sorrowful vocals singing about their reign, accompanied by bombastic and intense drums and other war-like instruments, giving such tragic and beautiful figures the edge and grandeur they deserve.
