Steel Cable HLL Ratchet Strap Tensioner

The SteelGrip HLL Ratchet Strap Tensioner from FallTech greatly reduces lost time when using a horizontal lifeline system that must be moved multiple times per day. Although the turn buckle system has the best durability, hours of work time is lost when spent relocating the HLL system throughout the day. The new Ratchet Strap Tensioner takes seconds to dismantle and about 30 seconds to erect the HLL system. Consider how it can take around 10-15 minutes to tension and loosen a turn buckle, now ultiply that by 8-10 times per day. That's can be about 1.5 to 2 hours per day of not getting the job done, because time is wasted on the turn buckle. Now consider the amount of hours per week and per job. Purpose of a steel cable HLL: The purpose of the FallTech SteelGrip® Temporary Cable HLL is to provide horizontal mobility for workers exposed to fall hazards and is designed as an anchorage subsystem for the attachment of up to two PFASs. The HLL is adjustable up to 100’ in length for a single span system and up to 360’ in length for a multi-span system.
