Szczyrk is a well-known tourist resort located in the southern part of the Silesian Voivodeship, in the valley of the Żylica River, at the foot of the Skrzyczne and Klimczok mountains. It is difficult to say when the first settlers appeared in the Żylica valley. It is known, however, that Szczyrk became an international settlement, because along with Polish fugitives and convicts, around the 15th century nomads from the Balkans wandered here. In the film you will see unique photos of Szczyrk from 1914 - 1968.
