Bluebell Railway: The Bulleids star during the ‘Giants Of Steam Gala’ 13-15/10/23

The time has come to
The time has come to celebrate the Bluebell’s annual Giants of Steam gala. During the event, especially the Friday the 13th how fitting!, provided some rather difficult filming conditions so most of the footage used was from the 14-15th however one or two clips from the 13th were used.
A total of SIX engines were utilised across the event to make the most of an intensive service with multiple runs north across the day with the expectation to No 72 Fenchurch which pulled brake van rides around Horsted Keynes station, which I forgot to record 🤦♂️.
Joining the homefleet was no 21C127 West Country Pacific ‘Taw Valley’ from the Severn Valley Railway and No 34070 Battle of Britian ‘Manston’ from the Swanage Railway. These bullieds provided a great thrill, even pulling a few double headers here and there!
A special shoutout to Adrian from the East Grinstead Model Railway club who allowed me to use that particular clip of ‘Camelot’ and ‘Manston’ Marching off into the sunset. You can find their website and instagram @ below if youre interested in models!
