Ahead of the Kent & East Sussex’s 50th anniversary gala, 70000 ‘Britannia’ arrives at Robertsbridge station via the Hastings main line.

Robertsbridge Junction station will act as the Kent and East Sussex new northern terminus and mainline link when services return in a few years.

Britannia will be hauling shuttle runs between Robertsbridge Junction station and Northbridge Road, topped and tailed with a GB Rail freight owned Class 73 which was out shopped, at the time of writing this, yesterday in its new network south east livery. This would be the first time this stretch of track would be opened for public services in 11 years.
