Erythropoietin and Natural Blood Doping

In this video, I will explain the secretion and impact of erythropoietin hormone on the production of red blood cells, the hematocrit level in males vs. females, and reasons for a higher hematocrit level in adult males. Following explanation of some stimuli for an increased secretion of erythropoietin, I will explain the positive aspects of natural blood doping, and the importance of monitoring blood viscosity to prevent health problems due to a high blood viscosity. Throughout the videos, I will summarize some of the causes that leads to experiencing hypoxia such as anemia, systemic diseases, high altitude, circulatory problems, etc.
