An area larger than 80 soccer fields is being built on in the middle of Berlin.
How can it be that today, in the center of Berlin, such a large area can still be built on? Who is building there and how? Is the architecture successful or monotonous? What is the latest building technology being used? What is the history of the area?
I try to answer these and other questions.
In this first video on Europacity, I go into the historical development of the area. It's about urban development, industrial revolution, railroads and terminus stations.
After that, we'll take a look at what buildings have already been constructed around Berlin's main train station. In the area south of the Invalidenstraße.
Those who have already seen my video on the Cube Berlin can skip that part.

I am happy about comments and am curious about the reactions.
