as the name indicates there are two types of OCD symptoms one of the options and the other of the competitions.
obsessions are the repetitive thoughts and the compulsions are the repetitive actions that are based on the repetitive thoughts
among the most common symptoms of OCD thoughts about dirt and contamination. these are the repetitive and intrusive thoughts. the patient feels that his hands are dirty and not clean even if he or she washed her hands multiple times. in OCD the patient realises that these thoughts are foolish and unreal
The other symptom of OCD is is the obsessional doubts. after the completion of any task the patient has doubts whether he has completed the task properly or not. whether he lock the door properly or not. whether he turned off the fire properly or not. as a result of these thoughts the patient perform frequently checkings.
in severe cases of obsessive compulsive disorder or city the whole day of patient is a pen in an attempt to overcome these thoughts. either in the form of mental destruction or in the form of performing the tasks again and again
how to identify obsessive compulsive disorder OCD is very important. in most of the cases OCD addresses of compulsive disorder remains undetected even for years. this is because the most of the symptoms of obsessive compulsive disorder OCD are the normal parts of our daily life.
for example we used to wash our hands regularly who used to clean our crops regularly.
another important OCD symptom is the impulse of behaviour.
this type of obsessive compulsive disorder symptoms the patient has a strong urge to perform a harmful act. such as the patient has an impulse to jump in front of the car. are she has no intention of suicide are self harm but all of a sudden strong impulse arises to perform the harmful act.
