North Korean foreign minister to meet Putin in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui during her three-day visit to Moscow. Ms Choe has already held meetings with her Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov. She lauded relations between the two countries, adding that ties are moving forward and in line with the leaders' plans. Mr Lavrov has slammed the US for creating "security threats" to Pyongyang, which he said are not helping in the resolution of regional issues. There have been fears that North Korea and Russia could be stepping up trade in weapons.
