Lechesa and Bakili met the day before Siemens was shot

Free State Stars Football Club assistant coach, Duncan Lechesa, has denied involvement in the murder of CityMed Managing Director, Dr Louis Siemens. Lechesa, a state witness, testified in the Bloemfontein High Court about his relationship with accused number one, Stanley Bakili. R6.5 million was allegedly irregularly channeled from CityMed Hospital, where Dr Siemens was the CEO, to Bakili to facilitate the approval of the hospital's licence. Today the state provided CCTV footage as evidence that Lechesa was with Bakili the day before Siemens' was gunned down in a parking garage.
