Pudding in general is very textured, flavoured and well yum!!! They are a combination of milk, eggs and little flavouring and sweetener. Puddings can be made in 4 different ways: Baked, boiled, steamed, or chilled. Very interesting isn’t it?

In the past, puddings were usually made of cereal, breadcrumbs and were stuffed sometimes in sausage skins in a pastry and baked later. But today, puddings are even served as a main dish itself such as corn pudding or a dessert as in chocolate pudding or snacks. Some people also refer it using different names by either calling it a flan or mousse. How do you call it?

We have two of our tried-out pudding recipes below:
- Butterscotch pudding
- Coffee pudding

BUTTERSCOTCH PUDDING

INGREDIENTS:
- Milk
– Cornflour
- Sugar
- Butter
- Vanilla essence
- Salted Caramel

PREPARATION:
• In a bowl, add 2 cups of milk, 4tbsp of cornflour and mix them well.
• In a heated pan, add sugar and caramelize it as you keep stirring.
• To this, add 4 tbsp of butter and add milk with cornflour into it.
• Do not panic when it starts hardening. Slowly keep stirring till it thickens.
• Add ½ tsp vanilla essence and mix along.

• Now, to get started with our final preparation, grease the glass bowls with oil and start pouring the mixture slowly.
• Refrigerate for 4 hours and serve it with optional toppings.
• (Preferably salted caramel)
