Perfect Pitch: DJ Pauly D (9.15.23)

DJ Pauly D dropped beats and strikes while on the South Side. Throwing to White Sox pitcher Liam Hendriks, DJ Pauly D was mic'd up threw out a perfect ceremonial first pitch on September 15.

Prior to all the pre-game festivities, White Sox pitcher Liam Hendriks and renowned DJ Pauly D hosted a tailgate event with proceeds benefitting Be the Match.

In December 2022, Liam Hendriks received a Stage 4 diagnosis of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. The news of 'cancer' was as shocking to him as it is to millions of families each year. In the days following the diagnosis, Liam and his wife decided to channel their efforts into supporting others affected by this disease. This determination led them to collaborate with DJ Pauly D for a fundraising tailgate event aimed at generating funds for Be the Match. Be the Match is a community comprising donors, volunteers, healthcare professionals, and researchers who work together to provide life-saving marrow transplants to patients in need.
