Origin Stories: White Sox Mascot Southpaw (2024)

Did you know before Southpaw there was Ribbie and Roobarb? Southpaw made his MLB debut on June 13, 2004 with the hopes of getting kids out to the ballpark and entertain fans in attendance.

Southpaw has since developed his own style, always dressing on theme from his outfits to his shoes. He also has developed an anti-bullying campaign called "Southpaw Strikes Out Bullying" and was inducted into the Mascot Hall of Fame in 2022.
