Singapore politics has always been dominated by the PAP so much so that Singapore is seen to have a ‘one-party system’. But in the 2020 elections, the Worker's Party took 10 out of 93 parliamentary seats and continued their trajectory as the biggest opposition party in Singapore to date.  That begs the question: How did the Worker's Party become the main opposition in a one-party system Singapore?
