Workers' Party resignations: Residents of Aljunied GRC and East Coast GRC react

Following the announcement that Workers’ Party MP Leon Perera and senior party leader Nicole Seah had resigned over an extramarital affair, The Straits Times asked residents of Aljunied GRC where Mr Perera was an MP and East Coast GRC – where Ms Seah was one of the Workers' Party candidates in the 2020 General Election – for their views on the resignations.

In a press conference on Wednesday, WP chief Pritam Singh said the relationship started after the general election of 2020 but he was told that it had stopped some time ago.
