O Holy Night (Tune: Cantique de Noël - 3vv) [with lyrics for congregations]

"O Holy Night" is an 1855 translation by John S. Dwight of the French Carol, 'Cantique de Noël' written in 1843 by the poet Placide Cappeau to celebrate the restoration of the organ in the town of Roquemaure. It was set to music by Adolphe Charles Adam, best known for his ballet 'Giselle', in 1843; the tune being known as, 'Cantique de Noël'.
