Jelly Flan or Gulaman Flan

Flan ingredients:

4 large eggs
410ml evaporated milk
300ml condensed milk
25g yellow unflavored gulaman
1 cup white sugar(more if needed)
1 tbsp vanilla extract
4-5 cups water

Arnibal/Caramilized ingredients:

1 1/3 cups sugar
3/4 cup water

Flan Procedure:

1) In a bowl beat eggs
2) Add evaporated milk, condensed milk, sugar and vanilla extract. Mix well.
3) Strain the milk mixture
4) Let it rest for 15 minutes
5) Heat Off: Combine gulaman powder and water
6) Stir constantly until gulaman dissolves
7) turn the heat on and bring to a simmer.stir constantly
8) Add milk mixture and continue stirrring
9) When the mixture is about to boil turn the heat off
10)Gently pour the gulaman mixture into the molders
11)Set aside and let it firm

Arnibal/caramelized sugar ingredients:

1) Melt sugar. *Continue stirring
2) Slowly add water and continue stirring until slightly thick
3) Pour a spoonful of caramelized sugar over the gulaman flan

Tip: Best Served chilled
