Bolognese is a traditional Italian meat and vegetable tomato sauce. It can be used for so many things, spaghetti, lasagna, or just eat it by itself. Today I’ll show you a simple and easy way to make this iconic Italian classic.

Background: I started working as a hibachi chef when I was 16 at my dads restaurant here in Athens, Ga. Since then I have worked in a handful of different restaurants, cooking hibachi, mastering sushi, and even making pizza!

Ingredients you will need:

1 lb onion
1 lb celery
1 lb carrots
2 lbs 80/20 ground beef
1 lb ground pork
1/4 cup of red wine
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp salt
1/2 tbsp pepper
1/2 tbsp dry rosemary
1 tbsp chopped garlic
2 cans (28oz) diced tomato
2 tbsp tomato paste
1/2 cup whole milk
