NSAIDs are most commonly used analgesics used in outpatient settings. However, they are used less often in inpatient settings especially ICU for various concerns and most will shun away from using them completely.  In this lecture, we will understand what are the underlying characteristics of patients who are at risk of renal failure from NSAIDs . We will understand why NSAIDs cause renal failure, hyperkalemia, hyponatremia and diuretic resistance. Its all about prostaglandins !!
