Painting Dreams The Story of
Painting Dreams The Story of Johnson Simon is the story of a inspirational, kind-hearted, motivated individual who does not look at his cerebral palsy as a setback, but rather, a reason to be even more motivated in pursing his dreams. This documentary showcases this through his journey of what is like being a disabled college student. Simon’s story is like no other: He is a gifted painter and a senior at WMU who is graduating in December 2015. Simon continues to break the stereotypes of college students with disabilities, and is a living testimony that nothing is impossible. And most importantly, “never, never give up.”
