Today in this video, we are going to learn the hybridization of CO2 molecules. It is a chemical formula for Carbon Dioxide. To understand the hybridization of the molecule, we will first look at its Lewis structure and find out how many hybrid orbitals are formed.

After finding out the total number of hybrid orbitals formed for the molecule, we can find out the hybridization of the central atom. In this video, we use a simple method of finding a steric number to find the hybridization. Along with hybridization, we also look at the molecular geometry and bond angles of this molecule.
