American Girl Vintage Cookbook Felicity (I make one of her Favorite Foods!)

I absolutely loved American Girl when I was a young reader in the 80s and 90s so when I discovered these cookbooks on Ebay I was ecstatic! I bought the 5 original cookbooks from the 90s and decided to start with Felicity and her favorite colonial American foods. Here's what you'll need: 1/2 c Butter, softened 1/2 c Sugar 2 Eggs 2 T Rose Water 1/4 tsp Mace--- I substituted Nutmeg 1/4 tsp Salt 1 c Flour 1 T Flour 1/4 c Currents or Raisins Mix butter and sugar together in a large bowl. Beat until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each one. Add rose water, mace, and salt. Mix well. Add the 1 c of flour 1/4 c at a time mixing each time you add the flour. Put the 1 T flour in a small bowl. Add currents or raisins. Stir to coat. Add to batter. Spoon batter into greased muffin tin and bake in a 325 degree oven for about 40 minutes.
