I discovered a pool of
I discovered a pool of fluid under the truck. It appeared to be coming from the power steering pump. Sure enough there was the tell-tale moan coming from the power steering. I kept topping off the fluid in order to get to the weekend and have some time to fix it.
I called to several parts stores and found that the price was about the same everywhere at about $20.00 for a new high-pressure hose.
You don't have to put anything on the end of the connections except for the o-rings that are provided with the new hose.
I try reading the directions but get stuck stuck with my elementary French.
This is an easy 1 hour fix for the average guy. No special tools are required.
