Ingredients:


500g beef, cut into cubes
2 onions, finely sliced (1 for marination, 1 for frying)
1/2 cup yogurt
2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish


Marination:


In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
Add one finely sliced onion to the marinade. Mix well.
Add beef cubes to the marinade. Mix well, cover, and let it marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.


Cooking Method:
Heat a non-stick pan or skillet. Once hot, add the cumin seeds and dry roast them until fragrant.
Add the other finely sliced onion to the pan and fry until golden brown.
Add marinated beef cubes along with the marinade to the pan. Cook on high heat for 5 minutes.
Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer until the beef is tender, stirring occasionally. This may take around 30-40 minutes.
Once the beef is tender and the gravy thickens, add garam masala and mix well.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Serve hot with rice, naan, or roti.
This modified version removes tomatoes and oil from the recipe and incorporates onions into the marination process. Adjust the spices according to your taste. Enjoy your Beef Boti Masala.
