In this video I factory reset and connect both the TP-Link WPA281 and AV500 Powerline WIFI Extenders to each other to extend my home network through the existing power cables in my house.
The WPA281 broadcast an insecure WIFI signal by default, so I set it to use WPA/PSK and a password.
Once both extenders are factory reset, and the WIFI settings are set on the primary extender, that is connected directly top my router using an ethernet cable, I can clone the WIFI settings from the primary to the secondary extender.
To do that, press the WIFI button on the Secondary extender for 1 second, and then press the WIFI button on the primary extender for 1 second, and the settings will be cloned across across to the secondary so that there is a seamless WIFI connection no matter which extender my WIFI capable devices are connected to.
Both extenders communicate with each other via the existing cables in the house. As long as both extenders are on the same electricity network, they should be able to find each other automatically after factory reset.

When plugging either extender into an existing network or router, its default IP address will be 192.168.1.1
You can connect to the admin panel by visiting 192.168.1.1 from a device that is also on the same network, such as a pc or mobile phone.
