Factory resetting your TL-WPA4220 is
Factory resetting your TL-WPA4220 is easy.
Ensure your TP-PA4010 is plugged into your home router and also into a power socket. The TP-PA4010 is a smaller device that connects to your main router via an ethernet cable. When plugged into a power socket, it will connect to any other TL-WPA4220 which are also connected to the same electricity supply and form a network using the electricity cables in your house.
Next, plug in the TL-WPA4220 into a different power socket somewhere. See this short video for an example.

Once both devices are plugged in, on the TL-WPA4220 push in the factory reset button for 5 seconds and then after it reboots (about 10 seconds), you can connect your mobile phone to the network using the SSID and password shown on the sticker on the TL-WPA4220 device.
You can change the default SSID and password required by the TL-WPA4220 if you want. Find out its IP address by logging onto your home network router to see which IP it was assigned. To find your home network routers IP, use ipconfig on windows to find the "Default Gateway" IP address, or on your phone WIFI connection settings it may also be labelled simply as `router`.
Once you've logged into your main router, and inspected the network page to see which devices have been assigned which IP address, find the IP address of the new TL-WPA4220 that you just plugged in reset. You can then enter that same IP address into your browser to access the TL-WPA4220 admin page. Log in using the default password "admin". You can then change the wireless settings to anything you want. Most people will use the same SSID and password as there main home router so that as you move around the house, it should auto reconnect to the extender with the best signal. This is optional. Sometimes it is just easier to use the factory defaults and have different SSID in the different parts of your house.
