(19 Oct 2017) Kurdish peshmerga
(19 Oct 2017) Kurdish peshmerga forces took up new positions on the Irbil-Kirkuk road on Thursday, three days after they pulled out of Kirkuk in the wake of Iraqi advances.
The road runs three miles (4.8 kilometres) south of Altun Kupri, a town halfway between Kirkuk and Irbil.
The Iraqi Army established its own positions further south.
